Why isn't the alarm working when my AirPods disconnect?
Make sure BudMinder has Bluetooth permission enabled (Settings → BudMinder → Bluetooth). Also ensure the app hasn't been force-quit, as background monitoring requires the app to be running.
The app isn't detecting my earbuds
BudMinder works with Bluetooth audio devices. Ensure your earbuds are paired with your iPhone and currently connected. Try disconnecting and reconnecting them, then refresh the device list in the app.
How do I get unlimited alarms?
The free version includes 20 alarm triggers. After that, you can unlock unlimited alarms forever with a one-time $3.99 purchase. There are no subscriptions or recurring fees.
Can I restore my Premium purchase on a new device?
Yes! Go to the paywall screen in the app and tap 'Restore Purchases'. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
Does the app work in the background?
Yes, BudMinder monitors your earbuds in the background. However, if you force-quit the app (swipe up in the app switcher), monitoring will stop. Just leave the app running normally.
Why does BudMinder need Bluetooth permission?
Bluetooth access is required to detect when your earbuds disconnect and to help you find them using signal strength in Finder mode. We never transmit any Bluetooth data—everything stays on your device.
The Finder mode isn't working well
Finder mode uses Bluetooth signal strength, which can vary based on obstacles and interference. For best results, move slowly and steadily toward the signal. Works best within 30 feet.
How do I delete a tracked device?
Swipe left on any device in your device list to reveal the delete option, or go to Settings and manage your devices there.
